No pressure, no cheese, just a fun time in your favourite places with your best people.

I never want to have you behave or pose in a way that doesn’t feel like “you”

It’s so important to me that you have photos that feel completely authentic to you, and equally important that your experience on the day is fun and relaxed.

I put the time and effort into getting to know you beforehand. I’ll send you a questionnaire shortly after you book, and then we’ll have a chat on the phone to talk through your answers, and go through any ideas or questions you have, and keep in touch regularly.

No time is wasted figuring each other out on shoot day, we can just go have fun! Your way.

The typical session lasts around 90 mins

I’m not a stickler for time, but usually we have everything covered in just about 90 mins. BUT if anyone needs a little break (looking at babies and kids here mostly - poo explosions, accidents, tantrums) I always keep extra time up my sleeve so nobody feels rushed.

  • Tiny fingers clinging to your skin, spaghetti in their hair… and yours. Endless calls of “watch me! Look at this!”.

    This fleeting season where these little people think you hung the moon. Your kisses repair their hurts. The way they light up when you come back after an hour at the shops. The tears, the tantrums, the utter chaos.

    I will join you in your play.

    I will capture their faces as they look at you.

    I’ll show you what they see when you smile at them.

    No rules, no cheesy poses, no worries if they absolutely crack it.

    I insist that your kids be themselves and that we make our session fun and silly.

  • The love women have for other women is one of the most inspiring and joyful things to witness.

    Often our chosen family are the ones we spend most of our adult time with. Nights out, seeing bands, dinners, drinks. Days spend lounging at the beach, roadtrips, sleepovers and big conversations.

    Sharing hobbies, secrets, clothes, goals, heartbreak and laughing til it hurts.

    Celebration of this love is one of my most FAVOURITE things to capture.

    I’ll join you on your beach day, your mini getaway, or come and snap you hanging out in full veg mode at home.

  • What a wild time. In between two worlds, between two selves. On the cusp of a great adventure and a whole world of discovery. Moments away from meeting your new best mate. Oh it’s magic and exciting and just quite miraculous.

    All that and a sore pelvis, unbearable heartburn, giant nips and relentless kicks in the ribs.

    I try to capture more of the former in my photos, generally for reasons of aesthetics.

  • I don’t think this needs much explanation. Noses so tiny? Those little yawns and the remarkably strong grip on your finger? Uggghh it’s too beautiful to bear.

    There’s also just so much going on isn’t there? Wild hormones, sore boobs, no sleep and overwhelming learning curves.

    For me, this period was so monumental… but so fast that it almost completely passed me by in a dazy, sleepless haze.

    I want to preserve it for you. I want you to have something to help you jog your memory, and call back to this dreamy, difficult, vulnerable, beautiful, time.
